Repair process

After accepting the offer, we proceeded with the comprehensive regeneration of the spindle. All spindle bearings were replaced with new ones, precisely adapted to the operating conditions of the DOOSAN spindle. As part of the repair, we:
- Regenerated the mounting and sealing surfaces,
- Replaced the complete set of seals and protective rings,
- Inspected the condition of threads, shims, and clamping mechanisms,
- Performed reassembly with axial alignment maintained according to manufacturer tolerances.
Running-in, balancing
and final testing
After assembly, the spindle underwent a controlled running-in process. This stage allows for verifying the spindle’s behavior during operation and checking the correct fit of bearing components.
Next, we performed dynamic balancing at the highest precision class – eliminating micro-vibrations that can affect the durability of components. Each customer receives a balancing protocol confirming the achieved values and performance parameters.
We then carried out:
- spindle operation tests at different speed ranges,
- vibration and temperature analysis,
- leak tests of lubrication and cooling systems,
- final runout and radial/axial clearance measurements.
